About Understanding Therapy
When life becomes overwhelming, daunting or feeling out of control, seeking support to discuss your thoughts, feelings and actions, can be a positive way to deal with issues which you may feel are holding you back from living fully.
This is where I would like to help and support you.
Struggling with trauma including abuse, domestic and sexual violence and childhood abuse, bereavement (pre and post), end of life, anxiety, stress, depression, panic attacks, low self-esteem, relationship issues, work pressure, divorce, separation, changes in life or loss are just some examples of issues which can impede the way in which we want to live our lives.
Working confidentially, within a warm, comfortable safe environment, with a down to earth approach, we can work together to explore and understand how these issues are affecting your daily life and what choices and changes, you may, or may not wish to make.
You will have the space to step out of everyday life, time to speak openly with acknowledgement of being heard and understood without fear of judgement.
I have trained as an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor. This means that I tailor the therapy to you and not you to the therapy. This could include working creatively if you like working this way.
I am happy to make an initial appointment within 48 hours of you getting in touch. I have daytime and evening appointments available to work around your schedule. These can be face to face or online.
